Ways to support Kimsoeun and Katherine (updated may 2011)

In early 2011 we moved to Australia. Soeun is doing further study at Bible college and Katherine is part of a ministry team to international university students.

So some of the ways we are supporters has changed.

We still send out news and prayer letters. We plan to send out a hard copy/snail mail one about 3-4 times a year. Our Autumn Kronicle is out now! Did you get it? Do we have your postal address? (it had a smiley face on the front and a photo of Soeun's family on the back.)

We also send prayer emails occasionally. (I'm now doing it through my work's database, let me know if you want to get these.)

We will still be looking for financial partners, for Katherine's "salary" here and also we hope to get to know new partners for the long term. Our money will go through Interserve:

LIVES AND COMMUNITIES TRANSFORMED THROUGH ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS CHRIST.

Please ask if you want to know how to give.

Hopefully it will be easier to keep in touch with many of you. We hope to be in Australia for 2-3 years so even if you don't live in our town we should be able to catch up sometime- email us!

More about what we are doing

Kimsoeun is doing an MA(Theology). His first subject was very interesting and relevant to his work in Cambodia. Its easy to see how this study is useful for us long term. We're very thankful for this opportunity.

Katherine is working with international students as part of an Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) team. It's exciting to see new Christians keen and growing, and to be meeting with students who aren't Christians but really want to learn about the Bible. It's also great to be part of a team as in Cambodia I was mostly doing bits and pieces and here and there by myself. I'm enjoying team mates and structure.
