1095 C-19 cases in our province as of yesterday.

If you receive these posts in your email inbox, this might the last one. The forwarding service is finishing...or maybe it already did and I should have told you earlier, oops.

Our province had the our first Covid 19 case just a few months ago on March 9th. And here we are at the end of June and its already over 1000

Numbers of cases are going up all over the country. Some people in Phnom Penh have been vaccinated and now they are starting in 6 provinces. Not ours yet, hopefully later in the year.

Soeun spends most afternoons and evenings outside with the neighbours, doing a variety of things.

I spend each morning doing English and Maths with the kids. Also I spend a lot of time reading to them. Pictured are some of the books we are enjoying at the moment. Inherited from a departed American family.

625 cases of C-19 in Siem Reap so far

...for us though, just another day of homeschool.

We seem to be reading a lot of books set in America in the 1800s. My kids will know more American history than any other, I just read them whatever books I can find.

Snapshots of today

Early morning bike ride for a Danish Farewell.

I've hardly ridden into town this year, although I've been riding a lot. Having a pandemic temple pass, combined with all the roads being dug up means I pretty much stick to the park. So today was a bit of a shock, seeing all that mud and dirt. I also saw some parts of the roads are actually taking shape now.

I also saw a dog wearing a t shirt.

459 cases in SR so far

I recently finished reading 'Heidi' to the children, we all had so much fun with it. I'd heard of it before but never read the novel, I think we had a children's story book of it when I was growing up.

We recently inherited some boxes of books from a missionary family who just moved back to their passport country. So we have lots of new things to read at the moment.

The last few days sellers near us put string around their stalls so people can't go in, our area isn't in lockdown but people are aware of lots of new cases in our province.
