You could use that verse to pray for us any time.
July
-Pray for Soeun to have good health. He is trying to work on an essay, but his dizziness has come back over the last few weeks, and we are still trying to work out why.
-Pray for the holiday program for international students. Each Wednesday we meet for either a seminar or social event. Semester 2 starts next month.
June
-Thank God we are feeling a bit better these days! Soeun has amazingly caught up with his study, and I'm generally feeling less anxious.
May
- Thank God for a day that we both had free (may 7th). It was SO great to spend some relaxing time together going for a walk around the Botanic gardens etc
-Thank God for the many people who have been listening to us, praying for us and helping in other ways. Specifically over the last few weeks its been great to have listeners who seem to understand some aspects of what feels like our many stresses. (esp as I've been finding when I'm stressed and feel like people don't understand it makes it more stressful)
-Please pray for Soeun to study well. His subjects are very useful for him, but as he came late and has been sick he is behind on things.
- Please pray for Katherine to have wisdom to know what people-activity to be committed to and what to say no to.

Pray for our continuing settling in to Aust life. So many new things, and its frustrating we don't feel we can do normal stuff yet.
Thank God Soeun is enjoying his first subject! Very useful and relevant. It was stressful trying to get the pre-attendance essay done due to sickness and time limits.
Jan 2011- I just came on to update this, but rereading the prayer requests I wrote last month (see below) I decided that I want to ask you to keep praying those things this month, Thanks

Feb 11th update
-Pray for Soeun as he deals with some unexpected stressful things to do in his last week in Cambodia- a friend had a heart attack, the guy who was going to buy our car can't anymore, and he need to find a job/course of study/place to live for his sister, and his mum is about to move house. As well as some translation work and emptying the house.
-Pray he will be ready to study once he gets here. He will only get here a short while before his first intensive. Before the class starts he needs to have done lots of reading and some writing. Pray he'll be able to catch up on sleep and quickly settle in and and be able to study well.
-Pray we will be able to catch up well, after being apart for about a month. We'll both be busy learning about our new roles and settling in here so there are so many things going on for both of us.

...Kimsoeun's sister was able to get to her interview! The timing and transport worked out.

.... for Kimsoeun to finish up well in Cambodia. End of semester marking, spend time with family and help them make future plans, finish up translation work, finish emptying the house etc etc.
...for Katherine to start well. Beginning work with international students as part of a FOCUS group. Lots of new people to get to know, and lots of new things generally.
...and pray we can have some good catch up time when Soeun arrives in Australia after being apart for about a month. He'll be tired and having to cope with new country and study, and I'll be busy as well.

Prayer requests- (added 13th Dec 2010)
Thank God ...
Kimsoeun has a busy semester (August 2010- Feb 2011). More subjects than usual and some of them are new to him. He also has big commitments at church and other things. He was sick for a lot of November. Pray he will be able to get enough sleep and stay healthy and balance all his activites.Kimsoeun's sister hopes to start living and training at a vocational training centre. Please pray we can work out how to get her to the interview, and that she'll be accepted.Pray for Katherine to manage time well as she has no routine these days. She's finishing off many of her regular activities. Most of her time now is used up with preparing to go to Australia such as clearing out the house, and working on things for her role next year. 
Moving house is stressful! Over the next few months we will be in a time of major transition. Please pray for us!
